Challenge

Engineers found it time-consuming to manually update information in the backend of the Engineroom platform. This slowed down the process of keeping the platform current and relevant. The team wanted an AI-powered onboarding process that could automatically generate and update key information in the backend, reducing manual effort.

Goal

Design an intuitive onboarding flow that simplifies account creation.

Create a seamless experience for business owners, guiding them to provide essential information through a short questionnaire.

Research & Benchmarking – Reviewed onboarding flows from competitors and best-in-class SaaS products.
Wireframing – Mapped out necessary pages (e.g. login, social sign-on, questionnaire, loading state, full-screen onboarding).
Prototyping – Developed interactive designs to test the sequence of screens and user input.
Iteration – Refined layouts based on feedback, focusing on minimizing friction and creating a professional yet approachable interface.
